Clifton Down is a major station on the line. The two platforms here enable trains to cross each other on this mostly single-tracked route. The station is located off the fashionable Whiteladies Road and behind the Clifton Down Shopping Centre. Within walking distance is numerous shops & bars on Whiteladies Road and the Clifton Triangle. A little further afield is Clifton itself with impressive buildings and structures such as the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge.
