Fares on the Severn Beach Line are great value! As well as single & return tickets; weekly, monthly and annual season tickets are available which can bring the cost down to as little as 83p per day! Through tickets to other National Rail destinations are also available.

Single & return fares
For journeys wholly on the Severn Beach Line, a zonal structure applies. Stations Temple Meads to Clifton Down are in the Inner Zone, with Clifton Down to Severn Beach in the Outer Zone. If you are travelling between Stapleton Road, Lawrence Hill and Temple Meads only, on a train that is not the Severn Beach Line train, the same Inner Zone fares apply.

If you are travelling in the same zone, a single fare of £1.50 and a return fare applies of £2.00. If your journey involves travelling in both zones, a single fare of £2.00 and a return fare of £3.00 applies. Discounts are available for holders of valid railcards and for children between 5 and 15. Under 5s travel free.

Freedom Travelpass
Freedom Travelpass is the new ticket allowing travel on all rail services (including the Severn Beach Line) and most bus services in the zones purchased. Daily, weekly and monthly tickets are available for travel at any time, with discounted daily tickets valid for travel after 0900 or on weekends. Daily tickets can be purchased from First Bus drivers, daily & weekly tickets can be purchased on board trains and all tickets are available from station ticket offices.
